				DeskWiz+ 1.5

DeskWiz+ is a program that will help you with the minor details of your day as you sit at your computer.

I developed DeskWiz+ because for me going into a formal organizational software such as Lotus Organizer was more steps than I was interested in taking. If you find yourself writing notes or "To-Do" lists on paper, DeskWiz+ may be for you.

DeskWiz+ is a small toolbar that sits on your desktop, or it can be minimized.

It contains an address book, calendar, on-screen scratch pad for keeping brief notes, a "To-Do" list, an alarm feature, and a current date and time display. You can print from the scratch pad, and the "To-Do" list. Completed items on the "To-Do" list will print as strike-through text.

DeskWiz+ is so straight forward and simple to use that no help feature is included.

			DeskWiz+ Installation

You should have 4 files included with DeskWiz+. Three informational text files, and DeskWiz.exe.
To get DeskWiz+ up and running on your computer, do the following steps:

1) Download VBRun300.dll from AOL, if you do not already have it.
Search the software libraries under VBRun300.

2) Place DeskWiz.exe and the three text files in the directory of your choice.

3) Place vbrun300.dll in the Windows\System directory.

4) NOTE: This item (4) may or may not be necessary on your particular PC.
SHARE.EXE is a file that allows .dll files to be shared
between programs. You may want to try running the program
without SHARE.EXE, and if you experience an error stating that
SHARE.EXE is not loaded, or is required, do the following:

Open your computers autoexec.bat file in a text editor such as Notepad
or Write. If the following line is not present, add it in the autoexec.bat file:
    SHARE.EXE /L:500

This command allows Windows to share .dll files that are required by
    DeskWiz+.

5) Set up a program icon for DeskWiz+ in Windows. (If you are unsure how
to do this, consult your Windows User's Guide. It's a simple process)

6) If you had to add the SHARE.EXE /L:500 line to your autoexec.bat file
as described in item 4, re-boot your computer so this change will
    take effect.

That should do it....HINT: The informational text files are plain "ASCII" and are created by DeskWiz+ when you first run the program.

DeskWiz+ 1.5 is free to use, but any donations would be cheerfully accepted!
Thanks for downloading DeskWiz+, I hope it can help you! {:-)
