Shell to DOS and edit this FIND.HTM file as follows:
 1. Replace ****** with your key word(s) in query string(s) -
connect multiple words with '+' symbols, do not break the line(s),
for exact phrase matches quote them like this %22word+word%22.
 2. Save As #FIND.HTM where # = 1 for first edit.
After each edit must use a new #. Exit DosLynx to start with 1 again.
 3. Exit shell to DosLynx and load #FIND.HTM using File|Open Local.
 4. Select the Search you wish to activate and 'clic'.
(press Alt-U before you clic, to see the query script)

Need free memory for this method so one should start with a fresh DosLynx. One also needs a small text editor which works with lines longer than 80 characters. Of course one could also edit #FIND.HTM file(s) before starting DosLynx.

Tiny EDitor 3.0 will do (PC Magazine published ver 1.0 by Tom Kihlken in 1988). It requires about 80 KB free memory on shelling to DOS. TED3 can be obtained from http://www.apricot.co.uk/ftp/bbs/area26/index.htm.

My preferred editor for this is PC SpeedScript 1.0 by Randy Thompson, published by Compute! Books in 1989. Long lines are wrapped on the screen so you do not have to scroll to see them. Also, the program is about 30 KB but adapts to less free memory than TED3. Unfortunately it may be difficult to find nowadays, and you need the SpeedScript book to learn its command keys.

Hope you like this Helper for DosLynx .... WJanzen@mail.sd70.bc.ca
