Arachne Quik Chat Post Form

  • Use POST.HTM to add a comment to Arachne Quik Chat web page.If desired, change "NICK:" to your nickname, "EMAIL:" to your email address and "URL:" to your home page address. May leave "EMAIL:" and/or "URL:" as is (only a "&") if you would rather not give out your email address. Do not have any line breaks or carriage returns in the form. This is easiest to do by typing everything on one line in your text editor. Then, type your comment to post following "TEXTAREA:", and save it. Now, load the file in DosLynx. Don't worry if you cannot see your comment in DosLynx, more than likely all you will see when first loaded is a "Title" and the active link to the "SEND/REFRESH" button. After it's loaded, the link "SEND/REFRESH" should be active, if not move your highlight to it, then press "ENTER" or "L" to activate the link, which sends your comments to the end of Arachne Chat!

  • You can also "shell" to DOS inside DosLynx, then use PC SpeedScript or another small text editor, to edit your post on the fly, and add another comment, IF you have sufficient free memory available (approximately 100 kBytes)
