The keymaps distributed with xruskb have two basic layouts (jcuken and
yawerty), and five cyrillic codings (X11 keysyms, koi8, iso5, cp866
cp1251). That makes ten different keymaps.

The right coding is of course X11 keysyms, but they do not work most
of time. This is probably because only few X11 programs call
XtSetLanguageProc and setlocale.

There are also jcuken-deru-* and yawerty-deru-* maps for german/russian
keyboard layout created by tobi@bland.fido.de (Tobias Ernst),
and two hebrew keymaps (hebrew.xmm and hebrew-iso8.xmm) contributed
by Vadim Smelyansky <jim@AFIK1.CO.IL>.

About M4: I used this preprocessor to reduce duplication. That way, I
have only 4 files with codings, 2 files with layouts and several
really small supplementary files. You do not have to have M4, because
the generated keymaps are included in the distribution.
